Bio Logs
It is used as a Blanket to prevent soil erosion, accelerates growth of vegetation on banks and slopes. The distinctive feature compared to conventional geo textiles is that it is used for soil stabilization, reinforcement, landscaping and erosion control.
Erosion control Blankets are made of coconut coir fibre with photodegradable or biodegradable top and bottom grids stitched up together as forming a sandwich. Thickness of the coir layer changes according to the specified applications. Top and bottom layers holds coir fiber with the help of stitched yarn. These erosion control blankets have a life time of 5-10 years.
Coir fiber is naturally resistant to rot, moulds and moisture, it needs no chemical treatment. Hard and strong, it can be spun and woven into matting. They also have the right strength and durability to protect the slopes from erosion, while allowing vegetation to flourish. They can dissipate the energy of flowing water and absorb the excess solar radiation.

Coir Logs will last upto 4-10 years and can be easily installed and will blend naturally into the environment over time.
Coir Logs are strong, yet flexible rolls which prevent soil errosion, hold mineral and organic particles and provide a stable structure for root growth.
Coir Logs are designed to withstand wave impact and storm water sheet flow forces, thus the preferred product for stabilization and re-vegetation of sites where you encounter steep slopes or exposure to waves or currents, causes instability.
The product is a tabular (cylindrical) knitted mesh stuffed with coir fibre. Coir logs are widely used on stream banks, sea shores and lake shores for controlling the sand slide. It is also used in desert areas for controlling sand overcomes.
They find applications in lake and seashores, stream banks and in deserts to prevent sand drifts. The principal use of this products is for erosion control on the banks of rivers, ponds and other inland water bodies.
